The perks of a Double Income No Kids household even without the partner
The acronym DINK was popularised years ago to represent couples (double-income) who weren’t having children and therefore enjoying some of the spoils and financial benefits of having disposable income.
What’s not expressly stated but equally important to note is that a double income household is a reduction of expenses because rent + bills are shared. For awhile committing to a partner and moving in together seemed like the easiest way to get ahead financially, this may not be a golden ticket but its principle still stands.
